for all your help booking us into the 3 star Tulip Inn Art. Our room was
very clean and very comfortable, buffet style breakfast was good, both hot
and cold, and there was an excellent [unlimited] choice. Food in the Cafe
Art was also good. Staff were helpful and let us extend our stay a couple
of hours without charge. Tulip Inn Art is just a bit too far from central
Amsterdam to walk there and back and is in boring surroundings. However,
it's easy to get a bus into Central (Nos 22, 48 and 49 from outside or very
near to the hotel). This is much cheaper than a taxi - the one way fare is
1.40 Euros compared to around 14 Euros for a taxi. NB: Room service not
available and no tea making facilities in rooms. (Very important for [some]
English people like me!) | | |
