| 12.02.2003 gordon (wales (uk)) My wife and i stayed in the Novotel, it was great for seeing the sights of Amsterdam. The hotel breakfast was very good it catered for all types of visitors and the accomadation was superb and the staff very friendly. | | |
| 11.11.2002 Tracy (Germany) Not the charm that we wanted in a small, quaint Amsterdam Hotel, but we booked late and did not have much choice. The hotel breakfast was wonderful; offered items for all tastes. Also, the tram was an easy ride to the centrum and there were always cabs available. The rooms were also very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay as originally we were hoping to be closer to the centrum. It all worked out just great. | | |
| 12.03.2002 Hebe Beatriz Lein (US) The trip was wonderful. we are very happy with our stay at both hotels. we
have no complaints, and we think that the Krasnapolsky is a great place to
stay. the Novotel is very comfortable and spacious. however, it is not
located close to the centrum and it was too cold to enjoy the trip everyday.
in short, we loved it. | | |
| 08.02.2002 Tracey (Washington DC) The restaurant was outstanding. The food was 4 star quality, beautifully presented and delicious. The serving staff was courteous and attentive. The room itself was sufficient for a business trip. The room was clean and had all necessary amnenities. My only complaint was the front desk staff was so busy they tended to be abrupt and seemed annoyed at questions beyond billing. I found the location of the hotel a little difficult for walking with luggage and or packages. If you have a car or luggage cart the location is good. The location is fairly quiet and withdrawn for the tourist night life. Overall it was a pleasant stay. I'd definitely go to the restaurant again! Nice gift shop, good variety not too overpriced. | | |
| 30.01.2002 Robert Hutchinks (London, UK) Absolutely perfect for a business traveler. Convinient to everything!Great service! Will stay there again. | | |
| 29.12.2001 sally (us) Actually, we booked a room at Novotel 'cause everything else was unavailable. (My advise to you, book hotels in Amsterdam in advance!)We were afraid that it wouldn't be charming or convinient. However, it turned out to be the nicest hotel!!! Our rooms was just perfect, the hotel had more conviniences that we could've ever use and it was rather conviniently located. Took us just a few minutes to get to the central station and all of the Amsterdam attractions. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone else going to Amsterdam! | | |
