| The NH Schiller hotel is located in the historic heart of the city on the Rembrandtplein. Conference facilities, department stores, boutiques, museums and canal boats are all within easy walking distance. Frits Schiller, the hotel’s founder was described as “the best hotelier amongst painters and the best painter amongst hoteliers by the artists who met regularly in his establishments. The founder of NH Schiller painted only "between lunch and dinner" and you can still admire the results all through the hotel. All the paintings were restored during the recent renovations and are now in excellent condition. This four-star hotel has 92 hotel rooms, including 4 family rooms, a suite, a junior suite and a studio. All hotel rooms have television with in-house movies, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press and hairdryer. 30 Hotel rooms also have a minibar. There are two boardrooms, the 'Schiller Salon' and the 'Kleine Salon' suitable for private meetings and private dining for up to 12 guests.
