NH Amsterdam City Centre opened its doors in 1994 as a comfortable 3-star hotel, situated in the center of Amsterdam. The premises were built in the 1920' s in the Art Deco-style (Amsterdam School-style). NH Amsterdam City Centre is located close to a number of tourist attractions, including the Palace at Dam Square, the Anne Frank house and the Flower Market. Business centers such as the RAI Congress Center and the World Trade Center are easily accessible by the trams, which stop in front of the hotel. Amsterdam City Centre has 209 spacious rooms with a bathroom, TV, telephone and coffee/tea making facilities. Non-smoking rooms are available. The hotel is also accessible for disabled guests. The Superior Rooms are larger in size or have a lovely view of the canal. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Delicious Italian food is served at Restaurant Gerzonis, which is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Winter Garden is a perfect place for your business appointments or just a quick cup of coffee. Parking is also available. Buffet breakfast, all taxes and service charges are included in the quoted rate. |

| 07.11.2004 Brian faulkner (UK) Nice friendly hotel, room was comfortable, if a little small, but it did overlook one of the canals.
Quite location handy for Dam Square and most attractions. | | |
| 21.06.2004 Maureen Knox (York) good hotel in a very convenient location, central to evrything. We had a 4 bedded room which was large and comfortable. Service ws good and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fair- good range of food. Hot food -a bit disappointing. Otherwise would recommend this hotel. | | |
| 15.01.2004 AMarie (Wisconsin, USA) Generally a nice, clean hotel right in the middle of the city...with-in walking distance of almost everything. The only thing I wasn't happy about was paying for breakfast. It didn't say anywhere there that we had to pay so we thought we didn't have to but it turned out that we had to pay something like 19E. each each day. | | |
| 10.01.2003 Electra (New York) We were in this hotel for three days over New Year. I found everything tidy and in order. Breakfast was good, maid service was good, room service was good. The staff were pleasant. My only complaint is that I feel the price we paid per night during our three night stay was very high. You would get a VERY good hotel in New York on the internet for that same price. | | |
| 10.09.2002 Mike Phillips (Chelmsford, Essex, England) This hotel is very comfortable, although our bedroom (double) was very compact (the Dutch are masters at efficient use of small spaces); but the non-bedroom element of the hotel is very spacious. Try to get a room overlooking the canal - beautiful view. Breakfasts are among the best I've had in hotels - good quality and plenty; finish off with a coffee and smoke (if that's your fancy) in the adjacent spacious lounge. Easy and quick access to main-line train station, by walking or tram. Hotel is very near a clutch of good eating drinking places, all providing excellent fare at reasonable prices. Although the hotel is value for money, at the height of the season it is expensive (but nevertheless competitive). My only negative comment (and we may have just hit a bad patch) is that the reception desk was unacceptably slow (except that we did accept it!); their data processing procedures seemed convoluted and the minimal staff were `overwhelmed'if more that two customers approached at the same time. But you soon forget that onced you've booked in. Go there - there's more to like than dislike. | | |
| 20.08.2002 Martin Adams (Manchester) This hotel was among the best I have ever stayed at. The staff were efficient and friendly, the meals were very tasty, the rooms were wonderful and it is within walking distance of all the main attractions in Amsterdam. I will be staying there again, and would definatly reccomend this hotel to anyone. | | |
| 08.07.2002 Darrin (Denver, CO) A very nice hotel in the best part of amsterdam (on the same street as some of the best resturants in Amsterdam). The check in and service was easy and they also offer a shuttle to the airport. | | |
| 31.05.2002 Patricia (United States) We had a wonderful time at the Tulip Inn Hotel and the staff was helpful and
kind. The rooms were clean and very nice. We would stay there again!

| 28.05.2002 Robert and Barbara Tough (Malvern U.K.) A very pleasant stay. The room was excellent, the food fine and the service efficient and friendly. We'll come back the next time we are in Amsterdam | | |
| 11.10.2001 Mr. and Ms. Thompson (Chicago, USA) lovely hotel and a great price. We did take notice of the rack price when we arrived and were very happy with our savings. Very nice location and the food was great. We would defintely recommend eating at the hotel's restarunat at least once during your stay. It is well worth it! | | |
