07.09.2004 Gary Taylor (Kuwait) Enjoyed our stay room clean, service very good .Thanks, Gary Taylor

15.08.2004 JOHN MEREDITH (WOMBOURNE ENGLAND ) WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN AMSTERDAM,LOT'S TO SEE AND DO . THE HOTEL EDEN WAS SUPER THE BREAKFASTS WERE GREAT AND A GOOD LOCATION TO EXPLORE. SEE YOU AGAIN SASHA.

21.04.2004 Megan (New Zealand) Fantastic location to explore Amsterdam from. Would recommend asking for a room away from Sinners night club and with a view of the river.

02.02.2004 Dawn Kudzinowski (Berkshire, UK) My boyfriend and I have been to Eden 3 times in the last year and we love it! The staff are lovely and very helpful! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam!! So expect to see us soon!!

28.11.2003 Roger and Laurie (Southend, UK) We arrived very early in the day and were offered a room that was immediately available - but it was very crammed and not up to the standard for the price (Was it emergency staff accomodation?). The reception allowed us to change for a room available later in the day which was of good standard. Hotel was ideally situated and, we thought, good value.

04.08.2003 Gary Taylor (USA/Texas) Fair price and good service.I would recommend to any one on first stay in Amsterdam all shops within walking distance. Thanks Gary T.

08.06.2003 Jeremy and Fiona (Leeds) An excellent choice for a family break. Hotel in a pick position, huge family room, basic but spotless with and abundance of towels. Great breakfast.

21.05.2003 Sue (Liverpool, England) When we arrived at our room it was very nice but when we opened the curtains our view was a brick wall. However, we complained to reception and next day they moved us to a very nice room with 3 large windows overlooking the river. The hot breakfast was very nice and set us up for the day. We felt the hotel was a bit expensive but we thoroughly enloyed our stay.

05.05.2003 Madonna (Rosemont, PA) Our stay was wonderful. The only comment I had was about the buffet breakfast. I didn't think it was very good. There was no variety. We had the same scrambled eggs every morning. Americans aren't used to having deli meats and cheese for breakfast. There should have been some bagels or pastries, fresh fruit, pancakes or french toast. Otherwise, the stay at the hotel was very pleasant.

05.05.2003 Kathryn (Sunderland, UK) We took advice from other reviews and asked for a room away from Sinners night club. The hotel were very obliging & the room allocated was great (quite big for Amsterdam standards). We arrived very early & they checked us in and kept our luggage until we could get into the room. Overall we thought the hotel was fantastically situated for everything, staff very helpful & the breakfasts set us up for the day - we didn't need to eat until the evening. We will definately be going back here on our return.

| 23.04.2003 David Niel Evans (North Wales,UK ) A very enjoyable stay at your hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and I have recommended you to my friends if they visit Amsterdam.
Regards
Dave Evans |

03.04.2003 Ted (Oaklyn, NJ, USA) The room was just the right size, since I was not there, except at night. The bathroom is adequete, but very small. The breakfast was good and the food was abundant. The scrambled eggs were "runny", though. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, since it was clean and the staff was very professional.

| 11.03.2003 Sophie (Northampton, UK) The hotel was nice, they even had the room ready for 8.30am when we arrived which was good. The room was quite big although it did overlook the restaurant next door so we had to shut the curtain all the time but no great bother. The only bad thing was the shower which did not stay at a regular temperature and went from warm to freezing to boiling!
All in all a nice hotel with friendly helpful staff and well worth the money. |

03.03.2003 karen dawson (ayrshire, scotland) 3.00pm check in time wasn't great after a very early flight time. Room was very small and in need of upgrading.Adequate accomodation for a 2 night stay but would not have liked to stay any longer.

03.03.2003 gail quinn (scotland) all 6 of us had a fab time the hotel was well worth the money,

28.02.2003 Corrina (Northern Ireland) I had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western Hotel and found the location was close to all the places I wished to visit. The room was comfortable and I would definatly stay again.

24.02.2003 Jean & Roger (Glasgow, Scotland) We both had a great trip to Amsterdam. It was the first time my husband had been and he thouroughly enjoyed it. Plenty to see and do. We couldnt fault the hotel in anyway at all, the buffet breakfast was excellent. Hope to see you all again some time.

22.02.2003 richard grange (london uk) enjoyed our stay at the eden hotel very much , room was big and airy and cleaned every morning. staff are very freindly and helpful , also its in a exellent postion for exploring the town centre. thank you very much eden we will come again

13.02.2003 Chris & Emms (England) I thought the hotel was conveniently located for getting around the City although the room was very basic and was in need of refurbishment. We had to ask twice for tea and coffee to be delivered to our room and it didn't arrive until two days later. The breakfast however was excellent - if staying again however, I would try other alternatives first.

03.02.2003 Paul Tolliday (UK) No problems at all!! The staff were helpful, the room was fine, the breakfast was good, and the hotel very central.

22.01.2003 M & J (England) Great location, good room, friendly helpful staff - we'll stay again!

| 11.01.2003 Antony (UK) On the whole, this hotel is comfortable, and friendly. The rooms are well equiped and sizeable. The location is excellent, being slightly removed from the centre of the city but easily within walking distance. A wide range of facilities are provided. On the downside, the restaraunt had a limited and pricey menu.
However, there are so many other places to eat in the city that this shouldn't stop people from staying at this hotel.
I would certainly stay at this hotel in the future.

08.01.2003 Ray Brady (Dublin Eire) I had a very plesant stay in this hotel & when I return to Amsterdam in Feb. 03 I will stay there!!

| 07.01.2003 Harry (United Kingdom) Location of hotel is perfect. Room condition is good and well for sleeping.
I am really enjoyed to my holiday and the price is also great. |

28.12.2002 Lee Bromhead (UK) A very enjoyable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful ans the hotel is ideally situated for the Museum district as well as the centre of town. MY only niggle was that the heating was turned up way too high(I know it was a really cold spell, but it was almost like Florida when I walke into my room)

08.12.2002 Dan (Florida) I stayed at the Eden around Thanksgiving time,2002. I loved the location, room was fine. Would definetly stay there again. But they need to keep people from smoking in lobby. Since my room was right off the side of the lobby, sometimes my room got very smokey. But the location was perfect. I could walk to any part of city I wanted. Thanks Eden for a great stay.

05.11.2002 dennis caughey (shoreview, minnesota usa) Great location.... Check in was smooth. although lobby was very smokey. First nights room was in very poor shape and on the street, thus very noisy. We asked for a change for night 2 and received a very nice room, quiet and non-smoking. As a 3 * hotel it is about what you would expect. Price for Amsterdam was reasonable.

23.08.2002 Dawn (Florida) clean, comfortable hotel. single room is extremely small but ok. breakfast buffet was great. staff is very helpful and nice.(especially Rob, the porter). location is excellent.

08.08.2002 brigitte evans (south wales) the hotel looked impressive as we arrived, the room was clean, but the air conditioning did not exist, we had a very small inadequte fan and it was very uncomfortable in the room due to the heat. The beds were twins pushed together and extermely uncomfortable, this was the third time that I have been to Amsterdam, and the only time that I have been disappointed with my accomodation. I will not stay at this hotel again. B. EVANS

| 17.07.2002 Bob Hopper (UK) I had a nice trip, the hotel was excellent.
The earliest check-in time would have been useful. Perhaps you did send it to me and I didn't read it. After a short wait 15mins the room was made ready. |

11.07.2002 Tim (England) Good clean standard of hotel, staff helpful. In a central location for getting around the city. Only monor complaint was that the room was warm. Would definately stay again. Check out the irish bar 50 yards down the road.!

09.07.2002 christina (new york) Not the 'lap of luxury' in terms of the rooms, but the staff are friendly and helpful, and the services are good.

19.06.2002 selina (London) Our 'canal view' was very noisy, traffic from both the road and canal, the windows only open a tiny amount so the 'view' was limited. Our 'double@ room consisted of two single beds pushed together.

18.06.2002 Sarah (Harrogate, UK) What a surprise this hotel proved to be. Although the rooms were basic they were comfortable and clean. The location is excellent for Rembrandtplein and only a short walk to Dam Square. It's also very close to the tram network and we found them easy to use. Would recommend this hotel if it's your first or subsequent visits.

| 05.06.2002 Sharon (US) Our stay at the Eden Best Western in Amsterdam couldn't have been better.
The staff was attentive and helpful and the buffet breakfast was delicious.
Thanks |

01.06.2002 Gabriel (Texas-Mexico) I had a very good time. The staff are very pleasant and professional. I prefer Pine oil in my toilet bowl daily. I noticed you have CNN but not Fox News. CNN gives a distorted view of the country where I live right now, which is the United States. Fox has a more balanced and fair coverage.

31.05.2002 Gus (UK) Great Hotel, liked the rooms, the breakfast and the staff. Very clean. Great position.

12.05.2002 Cheryl (USA (living in Naples, Italy)) This is a great hotel, in a pretty fab location. Rooms were a decent size and the staff was reasonably friendly. Great Breakfast Buffet!

09.05.2002 Danny L. (New York, New York) The service was superb. rooms were very nice, bathrooms were well maintained and clean. internet in the lobby was a nice touch. the location of this place is key for those who want to be in the middle of everything. overall: it is a very nice hotel and would go back, if you got the bucks.

09.04.2002 John Morgan (Edinburgh) Very clean and bright room, staff friendly and helpful. Needs a full-time porter to handle left luggage when its a busy.

02.04.2002 Robert Stayton (Memphis, Tennessee, USA) Very comfortable room at a good price.

02.04.2002 Nigel Harding (London) The Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The room was smaller than we expected and there were no tea or coffee making facilities.

15.12.2001 david and Lisa (Chicago) great hotel and the greatest breakfast! we saved on lunch 'cause they kept us full untill dinner!:)
